Skagit Transit Ride Pass Grant Program Applications Being Accepted

The Skagit Transit Board of Directors approved a yearly distribution of up to 10,000 local service one-day ride passes to pre-approved organizations serving low income/disabled clients with no other means to pay for public transportation.
The Skagit Transit Board of Directors approved a yearly distribution of up to 10,000 local service one-day ride passes to pre-approved organizations serving low income/disabled clients with no other means to pay for public transportation.
The program provides passes through an application process to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and government agencies that serve low income/infirm residents of the Skagit Public Transportation Benefit Area.
The agency disperses passes to low income/infirm recipients who meet the program eligibility requirements.

Applications are now being accepted for the Ride Pass Program. All applications and attachments must be submitted by 5:00 pm November 21st, 2014. Applications received after 5:00pm November 21st, 2014 will not be considered.
