Skagit County is in a period of significant growth. More and more families are moving to our community; some residents work nearby, while others commute north or south along I-5.

As we grow together, Skagit Transit will continue to offer public transportation services to accommodate the rising need for alternative transportation. One such service is the Everett Express (route 90X), which represents our latest efforts. This service provides nearly 2,500 riders a month with a convenient ride between Skagit County and Everett Station. And with our new buses, which feature more comfortable seating, overhead storage, and individual reading lights and air-conditioning, even more people are taking the Everett Express for a ride.

But Skagit Transit is about more than just moving passengers from point A to point B; we strive to make every trip you take with us a delight. Maybe you have already received this outstanding service, and would like to share your story with us. If so, we’d love to hear it. We would also like to hear any questions or concerns you may have regarding our services. You can reach us by telephone at (360) 757-4433, or e-mail at skagittransit@skagittransit.org.

On behalf of all of us here at Skagit Transit, we look forward to exceeding your expectations of public transit, and working together with you to make this community the best it can be as we continue to grow together.

Sincerely yours,

Dale S. O’Brien
