Representative Rick Larsen Tours Skagit Transit's New Facility Following $5M FTA Grant

Representative Rick Larsen recently visited Skagit Transit's under-construction facility, marking a significant milestone for the community. The tour provided Larsen an opportunity to witness the progress made possible by the $5M grant from the Federal Transportation Administration (FTA), which he played a key role in securing.

Skagit Transit's CEO, Crystle Stidham, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Larsen for his enduring commitment to the agency and the broader community. "His support is invaluable," she said, "and we're incredibly thankful for his continued advocacy."

The new facility, currently in the first phase of construction due to complete in April 2024, will empower Skagit Transit to roll out green transportation initiatives and expand service reach.
