Skagit Transit Service Improvements Postponed Until January 2024

Skagit Transit has announced a delay in the planned service improvements on Routes 513 and 615 due to staffing shortages. The improvements, originally slated for August 28th, have now been postponed.

Given these circumstances, the current schedules for these routes will continue to be in effect until January 1st, 2024. Skagit Transit has prioritized the safety of its passengers and the reliability of its services in making this decision.

The authority extends its sincerest apologies for the inconvenience this may cause to its passengers. Efforts are underway to resolve the staffing issue and to implement the service improvements as soon as possible.
