Skagit Transit offers a generous employee benefits package that includes options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. In addition, Skagit Transit offers participation in the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems (PERS).
We offer two medical plans: Kaiser HMO and Regence PPO with a 90/10 employee contribution.
Employees can receive financial compensation for waiving medical if insured elsewhere. Example, covered under spouse’s insurance.

Full-family dental and vision coverage through Delta Dental and VSP at no cost.
Skagit Transit provides $25,000 basic life insurance and AD&D through Standard Insurance Company. Supplemental life insurance can be purchased by employees through payroll deduction.
