Under the supervision of the Manager of Safety and Security, the Security Supervisor plans, develops,
coordinates, and implements the security programs for Skagit Transit. Responsible for the protection,
safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers, and all visitors. Oversees record and report
retention for all security related matters at Skagit Transit.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Work with the Manager of Safety and Security to plan, organize, implement, and monitor Skagit Transit's
security program
• Work as a primary member of the supervision team to respond to and help handle emergency situations
• Works with the Manager of Safety and Security in serving as liaison between Skagit Transit and
contracted security/agency staff.
• Ensure security staff are conducting security patrols in order to protect and safeguard Skagit Transit's
assets, personnel, customers and visitors
