WAGE:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Answer questions from the general public and staff via telephone, e-mail, or in person regarding route and schedule information, fares, bus stop locations and transfer points

Receive and document customer comments, complaints, commendations, and disseminate appropriately

Represent Skagit Transit in a positive and professional manner

Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Selling both physical and digital bus passes
-
Complete till reconciliation form each day

Oversee inventory of fare products and report to the Planning an Outreach Manager when additional stock is needed

Coordinate Skagit Station community meeting room:
-
Manage calendar of reservations
-
Process room rental deposits and payments
-
Show the room to potential users
-
Issue keys, arrange furniture, and perform light cleaning as needed
-
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on transit system information including schedule changes, rider alerts, detours and Supervisor directives

Create identification cards using lamination tools
-
Receive and record lost and found items, including ongoing monitoring for donation or disposal per retention schedule

Assist with project promotions and campaigns to raise awareness and use of transit and other Agency services by posting notices on the agency website and other media sources

Respond to requests for information or facilitate contact with the applicable administrative staff

Provide materials to outside transportation contacts

Provide support assisting with the review of transit guides and service brochures in print, online, and in ADA format
-
Be aware of transit guide, service brochures, print and online materials that relate to schedule changes, rider alerts, detours, and assigned directives

Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Perform other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the job.
A typical way to meet this requirement would be:

Associate degree or

High school diploma and
-
2 years of experience performing public contact work in call center or customer service

Money handling and general office experience

Must maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License

Maintain acceptable driving record
