Oversees and supervises the day to day fleet maintenance activities for all Skagit Transit vehicles. Assists
manager in planning, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring all fleet maintenance activities. Provides input to
manager on maintenance standards, budgets, policies, and practices. Sets example in providing quality
customer service. Responsible for daily input and upkeep of maintenance/vehicle records and history files.
Manages vehicle parts room.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day fleet maintenance activities for all Skagit Transit vehicles
• Assist in selection, training, performance evaluation, shift scheduling and enforcing of work rules of
vehicle maintenance staff
• Assist in quality assurance upon completion of repairs and activities.
• Review repairs on vehicles and ensure repairs are stated on work orders and all parts issued are
accounted for and are filed for historical data
