Skagit Transit is making minor route changes to two of our routes in north Mount Vernon
Skagit Transit is making minor route changes to two of our routes in north Mount Vernon.
We would like to have a public meeting to gather public feedback on these changes. The meeting will be held in the Community Room of the YMCA at 1901 Hoag Rd in Mount Vernon from 5:30-6:30PM.
Route 204 will be adding a small loop north of College Way around 33rd and 35th Place. this will provide areas residents with access to transit service as the traffic speed on College Way prevents us from establishing stops along College Way.
Route 207 will be adding a loop heading north on Francis after servicing LaVenture. It will then travel down 30th back to Martin and head west to Wal-Mart. This will provide the residents of this area with improved access to transit as well as service the new housing that has recently been constructed along 30th.
